Maheeswari Guttikonda is a dedicated and compassionate Resident Physiotherapist committed to helping individuals improve mobility, manage pain, and rebuild confidence in their daily routines. For her, physiotherapy goes beyond addressing physical injuries it’s about equipping patients with the tools and knowledge they need to take charge of their long-term health and well-being.
Maheeswari holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences and earned her Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) from Dayananda Sagar University, where she specialized in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation. With over three years of clinical experience, she has worked with a wide range of patients, providing care in areas such as post-surgical rehab, chronic pain, and neurological recovery.
Her clinical expertise spans treatment of various musculoskeletal conditions, including those involving the lower back, knee, shoulder, elbow, and wrist. She is trained in lumbar spine mobilization, stroke rehabilitation (including gait training), and vestibular physiotherapy. Additionally, Maheeswari is rostered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario to perform acupuncture (dry needling).
Her treatment approach is holistic and patient-centered, combining manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, and evidence-based rehabilitation strategies to deliver personalized care. Whether working with patients recovering from injury, managing neurological conditions, or addressing vestibular issues, she fosters a supportive, motivating atmosphere throughout the healing process.

Outside of her professional life, Maheeswari is a lifelong practitioner of Kuchipudi, a classical Indian dance form known for its grace and intricate movements. She also finds joy in cooking, where she blends creativity and patience, and enjoys connecting with nature and spending quality time with her family. These personal passions help her stay grounded and bring renewed energy, warmth, and focus to her work every day.
